When you first access the Sage Open Access Portal, you need to be invited. Once your article reaches the Sage Open Access Portal, you will receive an invitation email. This email will include a link to the portal, upon first visit you will be asked to create a password, and the email address associated with your article submission will act as your username.
From them on, to access the Sage Open Access Portal, please visit openaccess.sagepub.com. Once here, you will be asked to log in using the your email address and password created previously.
If the password is entered incorrectly ten times, access to the portal will be locked. To reset the password, authors must click on 'Forgot password'. If locked out, authors will receive a prompt via a pop-up to contact openaccess@sagepub.com to have their account unlocked.
