How do I select and sign a license in Sage Journals: Licensing & Payment?
When you reach the 'Sign License' stage in Sage Journals: Licensing & Payment, please follow the below steps:
- Select your license type for your article, this step is important as it determines how others can use, share, and distribute your work. Please refer to What types of licenses are there available in Sage Journals: Licensing & Payment? for more information.
- Specify who holds the copyright for your contribution. This means you will need to indicate whether you, as the author, retain the copyright to your work, or if it is owned by another entity, such as your employer or institution. - Once you have made the above selections, press 'Continue' to complete this step.
- This will trigger the creation of a digitally signed Creative Commons license. A copy of this signed license will be send to all authors. This email will be sent from [email protected] with the subject line ‘Open access license chosen for your paper 10.XXXX/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX'.
