Overview
ORCiD IDs (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) are unique identifiers that are assigned to individual authors and researchers. These IDs are designed to help distinguish individuals from one another and to ensure that their work is accurately attributed to them. By using an ORCiD ID, researchers can easily connect their work across different platforms and systems, making it easier to track their impact and contributions to the field. If you would like to learn more about ORCiD IDs and how they can benefit you as a researcher, we encourage you to visit the ORCiD ID website.
Authors should include their ORCiD ID when they submit the article to the peer review stage during submission of the article.
Can I change/update my ORCiD ID?
Once the manuscript is accepted, the ORCiD ID undergoes validation therefore, if the ORCiD ID is not provided during submission and a request is made to add or change after acceptance, this is not possible.
