Overview
If your article has been accepted and is currently in production, there is a possibility that it may require some corrections in the acknowledgement section. In such a case, we request you to contact the journal Editor and inform them about the changes that you require. This will help us to ensure that your article is published accurately and in a timely manner.
Can I change/update an acknowledgement?
- If you need to make any changes to an acknowledgement, we suggest that you kindly reach out the journal Editor. We recommend that you do this as soon as possible to avoid any delays in the publication process. When reaching out to them, please include the following:
- Article ID
- Article Title
- Detail of changes
- If you have already published an article and you realize that you need to make changes to the acknowledgement section, reach out to the journal Editor or the Production team. They will be able to assess whether or not it is possible to make the changes at this stage. It is important to note that any changes made to an already published article may affect its credibility and should be made only if absolutely necessary. Therefore, it is advisable to carefully review and proofread all sections of your article before submitting it for publication.
The Sage Open Access Customer Services team is unable to make any corrections in the acknowledgement section to the article proof.
