To raise an invoice, please follow the below instructions:

  • Confirm Billing Details: Upon reaching this stage after selecting the license, authors or billpayers can input their billing address details and view the APC pricing information
  • Preview Invoice: At this point, the author or bill payer will assess a preview of their invoice, reflecting the data entered on the preceding page. They may refine billing details further or, if prepared, they can agree the payment terms and conditions, before selecting their payment method.
    • Pay by credit card (this option takes the bill payer directly to an online payment portal)
    • Send final invoice (this option allows the bill payer to make payment at a later date by bank/wire transfer, credit card, or check if a Sage Inc. invoice)
  • Make Payment: If the bill payer chooses 'Pay by Credit Card' they will be taken to an online portal to complete this step. They will be asked to enter their credit card information.

  • Complete payment: After clicking Pay' button, the author or bill payer will finalise their payment and receive an email from Sage Open Access Portal confirming their payment and a receipt attached.

  • Complete payment at a later date: If the bill payer chose 'Send Final Invoice', then an invoice will be sent to you via email. You will have the option to pay via bank/wire transfer, credit card or check if it is a Sage Inc. invoice.
