Research4Life is a program that provides institutions in low-and middle-income countries with online access to academic and professional peer-reviewed content. We kindly invite you to visit the Research4Life website to confirm your eligibility; Research4Life Eligible Countries.

Does Sage offer Research4Life waivers?  

Sage offers a 100% waiver on an APC in fully Gold Open Access journals where the corresponding author is affiliated with an institution based in a country listed in Research4Life's Group A and Group B. Hence, if the corresponding author's country is part of the program, your article will qualify for a complete waiver of the APC and you will not be required to pay any fees.

How are Research4Life waivers are applied?

Kindly note that these waivers are automatically applied to your article, and you do not need request or enter any promo codes from Sage to avail them. Once you submit your article to a journal and it is accepted after the Peer Review process, our production system will apply this waivers automatically. You will receive an email from the Sage Open Access Portal for license selection and to complete the article workflow in our portal, no payment is required.
