How can I use content of your Open Access articles?

Modified on Tue, 2 Jul at 2:26 PM

If you are an author, please visit Sage's Author Archiving and Re-Use Guidelines for instructions on which versions and under what circumstances you are able to freely re-use an article you authored.

If you are a Researcher, after locating an open access article on the Sage Journals website you can find information about the specific license under which it is published. The screenshot below demonstrates where the CC license is displayed on an article page on the the Sage Journals platform. Please check here to see which license an article is published under.

Once you determine the license type, you can visit the Creative Commons website  to learn more about the permissions and conditions governing the use of content from articles published by Sage. You may also click on the 'Information, rights and permissions' icon on an article page on the the Sage Journals platform to find further information.
